Alexis started her career as a producer and then found herself most comfortable composing shots directly behind the camera, falling into the role of Director of Photography. She is a partner at Six Point Pictures, one of Baltimore’s most recognized film production companies. Within her 10 years as an independent filmmaker and photographer, she has lent her creative eye to many television platforms including Apple+, HBO, BET, Revolt TV & PBS. She continues to produce imagery that sparks change, inspiration and reveals truth and light for those in marginalized cultures.

The American Film Institute and Panavision have unveiled the participants for the 2024 Cinematography Intensive for Women.
The program is emulated from the AFI Conservatory MFA curriculum, featuring masterclasses on cinematography fundamentals and discussions on navigating the industry as women, nonbinary, and historically underrepresented filmmakers.
